Description

An informal network of trails allow users to wander over most of the 230 acre natural area. Cliffs and wooded hills surround a flat field with an elevated wooded "island" in the middle. Three or four miles of enjoyable singletrack winds through the woods surrounding the crushed gravel trail encircling the field. And a great little stretch crosses the wooded island. Native prairie grasses, limestone cliffs, creek views, and wildlife provide a diverse experience. Grindstone and Hinkson Creeks, plus the Gordon Tract, which is a National Register Archaeologic Site, are features of this natural area.

Directions

Access Stadium Blvd. from Hwy 63. Travel to the traffic signal at the intersection of Stadium and Old 63.Turn left (south) and travel about a quarter of a mile to the area entrance on the right.
